Dancer, Instructor, Choreographer & Founder

I started Savvy Sosh as a way to spread joy and connect people through dance. Each class I teach and every project I take, has this goal at its heart.

I grew up in the mountains of Salt Lake City, UT and enjoyed the outdoorsy trail-loving lifestyle of growing up in the West. I started ballet at age 3 and have been dancing ever since. My dance experience includes everything from jazz, hip hop and contemporary to folk dances, country line dancing and ballroom. I attended the University of Utah and have BA degrees in English and Communication.

I spent ten years as a professional event planner organizing black tie galas, community walks, fashion shows and back yard soirees. I used these experiences to create and teach college level event planning classes. I love teaching and it shows.

I moved to Redmond, WA 13 years ago with my husband and three boys. I immediately become involved with our community and spent six years on the Redmond Arts and Culture Commission. I’m still a trail-loving outdoorsy woman who enjoys camping, playing tennis, lake days, going to the theatre and reading.

Dancer, Instructor, Choreographer

Kellie Larson began her dance training at age 3 in Redmond, WA.  After studying tap, jazz and ballet throughout her childhood, she went on to receive a B.A. in Dance and performed in India, New Zealand, Fiji, Ukraine, Belarus, Austria and throughout the United States.

After graduating from college, Kellie continued her professional career with James Hansen Dance Assemblage and Second Wind Dance Company in Virginia.  She performed in New York City and throughout the Chesapeake Bay area.  While in Virginia, she was able to share her love of dance while teaching at local dance studios as well as in the public school system - giving her the opportunity to spread dance to children who may not otherwise have been introduced to it.

Kellie has taught many wonderful students over the years and has discovered a deep passion for sharing her love of movement with young dancers as well as adults.  Since returning home to Washington, she has started her own studio, Let’s Dance!, where she teaches ages 3-adults.  She loves seeing the way movement enriches the individual, as well as how it brings people together; creating long lasting friendships through vulnerability, laughter and touch.

Kellie resides in Redmond with her husband and three kids.  She is an outdoor enthusiast who lives for Seattle summers when she can spend time enjoying the mountains and lakes.  In her spare time, she loves to do anything active:  hike, run, work out, country line dance, paddle board, etc.  All these things she enjoys more when done with the people she loves.
